SOUTH
SOUTH is a musing on parochiality in London, England.
Many North-Londoners claim never to have travelled south of the River Thames and often proudly claim that they never will. They may wince on hearing that you hail from there. This North-South divide is often referred to in daily contexts, the inference being that south of the Thames is a lawless wildlands of the modern day. A similar idea of 'south' and all it may stand for exists in other parts of the world. This series explores this idea in the context of London.
