Duncan McKenzie is a British photographer whose work deals with human experience and our relationship with environment. 

His work has been published in the weekend magazines of The Sunday Times, The Sunday Telegraph, The Independent, The Observer, The Guardian and the FT, as well as Intelligent Life, Stern, NZZ, and Geographical, and various books. He has had winning entries for the John Kobal, the Schweppes and the Taylor Wessing National Portrait Award, the Landscape Photographer of the Year Award, the Royal Photographic Society International Print Exhibition, the AOP Awards, and the International Colour Awards.

His portraits and studies of human experience have been widely exhibited in venues including The National Portrait Gallery, The Photographer's Gallery, The Royal Festival Hall, The AOP Gallery, The Royal Photographic Society, UN Photo collection, and Getty Images.

Duncan was born in Kent (UK) in 1970, graduated in social anthropology and ethnographic film at UCL / SOAS, followed by a diploma in documentary photography at the University of Westminster. After some years apprenticing commercial photographers and working in advertising, since 2002 he has photographed portraits and human interest stories for a variety of editorial and commercial clients. Since 2012 he has also worked on long-term personal projects, the latest of which is Human Nature.
